Ready for School

All my kids are ready to brave the new academic year of 2009.

Siti Aishah will be in P2 Unity in GreenRidge Pri. She still thinks that her form teacher will still be Ms Sahara...I need to explain to her over & over again that form teachers will be different as students move to a different level... Aishah love Ms Sahara so much you see. When Aishah went thru this patch of low self esteem after failing her Math mid year exam,...Ms Sahara was the one to pull her out. Writing diaries just for her, taking a personal effort to help Aishah. No wonder Aishah feels so close to her.

Her new books are all done up since mid Dec, plastic wrap..all the works.

Nuraina will be in Sec 4B West Spring Sec School. Even before the school open..band practises are in full swing for the upcoming Band Concert to be held in one of the Polytechnics in June 2009. They are practising the 'Pirates of the Carribean' theme song among others. They sounded so COOL....

Sulaiman will be in Sec 3 in St Joseph's Institution. Last night he tried on his school uniform....long pants....put on the belt. Doesn't look nice as the waistline is a bit loose...extra material look flimsy under the belt...I need to alter a bit.

2009 will be a very important year for Aina as she will be seating for her 'O' levels and a challenging year for Sulaiman as he is taking 9 subject combinations after the streaming exercise recently. He is taking Full Literature, Full Chem, Full Physics, A & E Maths, Higher Malay, English, Combine Humanities (Geography). He knows he needs to focus well in 2009.

As a parent, I am ready too. Ready to have more peace of mind once the school re-opens...the holidays seem to be too noisy at home....what with the kids arguing over computer time and attention. I am depleted of all energy and effort... I should get more personal time once they are off to school.

2009 datang dengan penuh cabaran

Semalam Ita ke CCK Polyklinik. Sudah beberapa hari tidak sihat. Asyik terasa lemah. Produk Reliv tetap Ita teruskan. PowerWalk pun begitu.

Dibenak Ita risau...sudah 3 bulan haidth tidak jelang. Memang putaran haidth Ita tidak menentu dari anak dara lagi. Cuma kali ini...terasa bimbang. Suami sarankan Ita jumpa doktor. Ita digalakkan membuat health screening oleh doktor.

Darah diambil, ujian air kencing diambil juga untuk memastikan Ita tidak mengandung.

Screening for High Blood Cholesterol (Dyslipidemia)
Result: 4.68 (Good)
Ita mesti maintain below 5.20

Screening for Hypertension
Result: 120/80 (Normal)
Normal limits is 130/80

Screening for Blood Glucose Level
Results: 6.2 (not fasting)
This is less than 7.8 which is not suggestive of diabetes. Ukuran kalau belum makan harus lebih rendah. Ita pula dah makan jadi ukuran ini tak menunjukkan ada diabetes. Untuk lebih pasti, Ita disuruh datang minggu depan dan berpuasa sebelum ambil darah. Insyallah akan Ita lakukan.

Doktor puji berat badan sudah banyak turun dari rekod dahulu. Alhamdulillah.

Ada satu perkara lagi... mengenai putaran haidth Ita yang tak regular. Doktor suspek ada besar kemungkinan masalah ovaries..they call it Ovarian disease. Ita harus ke NUH pada 7hb Jan untuk membuat pemeriksaan lanjut. Hati berdebar2 mendengar ulasan doktor itu. Apatah lagi, Ita sering rasa sakit dikawasan rahim. Setelah selesai jumpa doktor, Ita terkedu duduk diam ditangga...menangis sendiri. Ita tak mahu bilang mak atau Shahid..tak mahu mereka risau.

Ita harus berfikiran positif. Ita tempuh 2009 dengan penuh tanda tanya mengenai kesihatan Ita. Allah memberi kita ujian kerana Dia tahu kita boleh mengharunginya. Insyallah...berkat doa kawan sekalian... Ita akan pulih...

My Girl..... Aina's Birthday.....

Nuraina turned 15 yesterday...and I had planned a surprise birthday gathering for her. I had called up Amira on last Thursday. Gotten her to invite the rest of Aina's friends over. It was a secret.

At 1.30pm sharp.... Aina was in her bedroom getting dressed..the excuse was that...daddy coming back for lunch and we are going out...hehehehe..she was still in the dark about all this..

Her friends..came into the house...sat at the living room, being quietly enough..giggling....they were too excited ..waiting to see Aina come out of her bedroom.

As she came out...her friends cheered...and shouted....'Happy Birthday Aina...!' Then they started singing the birthday song.... Aina was so startled...she kept jumping up & down.... the surprise was well worth it. She was so happy. her friends all came hugging her..giving her gifts...

I shared stories with them on Aina since birth.... how she was near stillborn... not breathing when I delivered her. Blueblack all over..deprived of oxygen.... One of her friends said...Aina is a miracle baby.... like all mothers in this world... I love my daughter so much..and seeing her grow into a lovely young adult is an enriching yet challenging too. 

Ya Allah..sempurnakanlah akhlak anak gadisku ini..jadikanlah ia seorang wanita yang berwibawa, bertanggungjawab dalam segala hal, cerahkanlah masa depannya, berkatilah usianya...dan sempurnakanlah solat dan imannya....Subhanallah...AllahuAkbar...Amin Ya Rabbal Alamin.....

My short family break...AFarmosa Resort Malacca

We left home about 6.05am, taking the LRT, then transfer to service 75. The morning was cool and my family was feeling excited upon going on this train journey to Tampin. Siti Aishah was the happiest of all...singing and laughing along the way....she just cannot stop blabbering...

We arrived at KTM Tg Pagar at 7.20am...boarding was to be at 7.30am...we made it just in time... the train left the tracks at exactly 8.00am... Fuyohhh we are on our way....!!

I brought Sardine sandwiches & Spaghetti Oyster Sauce packed in individual containers for easy consumption. In the train, Razak & the kids took turns playing the PSP, I just listen to my MP3. It was a smooth ride...finally we arrived at 1.15pm...had lunch at a nearby food stall. Chatted with the owner, Pakcik Ninggal...who offered to drive us to AFarmosa in his car... Alhamdulillah!

We checked into our condo apartment...Condo D'Savoy. 2 queen size beds, living room area, TV, dining area, a pantry....spacious and clean. However, that could not be said for the landscape of AFarmosa....much can be done to improve on how it looks... as we entered the entrance to the 520 hectare resort...we couldn't miss but see the gantry was very worn off.... looks depleted and not exclusive as we imagine a resort to be... nothing compared to Sentosa..

Anyway, we kept positive and wanted to enjoy our stay there.. off we went to Cowboy Town. The weather was good, soft breeze can be felt around us.. we toured the Cowboy Town, bought a cowboy hat....saw the acrobatic show, red indian show and finally the carnival parade and a magnificent fireworks display... what a good finish. We attended the 4D-Cinema...The Haunted Office was screening. Good show...our seats moved, water sprayed at us, our body being poked at and special effects was not that bad too.

We went back to the condo at 11.15pm....was very tired...did our solat and off to bed.

The next morning, we went to have our complimentary breakfast at the Chinese Restaurant (Halal) Still minding my slim points...I chose wisely... I took generous amounts of cucumber (actually for Nasi Lemak), a tbsp of baked beans, a sunny side up egg (cut out the yolk) a portion of Bee Hoon, fresh fruit cuts and a cup of hot tea (no sugar). I survived....

After breakfast, we got ready for WaterWorld... Siti Aishah was very excited... off we went. The wave pool was nowhere compared to our Jurong East Wave Pool. It was rather pathetic... as we we waddling in the Lazy River...my hubby noticed nails on the walls... that could have easily hit anyone's head...Subhanallah!... safetywise... terrible.. We got out from the Lazy River and off to the slides.... this is much better... I went down the moderate slide with Sulaiman... the slide was fast...and furious... YeeHah....so syiok man..... as we reached bottom... the buoy turned over, crushing Sulaiman below me... kesian dia... my leg hit his head...my poor boy..hugged him..said sorry and off he went to play again... that was enough for me..I did not go up again... Aina & Aishah went together up in the slides... I could see they enjoyed the ride.... they were so cute together... Razak went alone.... twisting in turning in the tunnel....Phewww!

The 7th storey high down slide looks eerie n I am scared shit! I did not even try that one. I am too scared. Razak, Aina & Sulaiman were courageous enough to go.... check out the video...you see what I mean...video still under processing...

At 5pm, the weather turned on us...soon it was dark & rains starts pouring...luckily for us...we had toured the whole WaterWorld area...we changed, packed some food for dinner, kids got some snacks for the night and hurried back to the condo. As we were all too tired to go out, we just stayed indoors and watched TV. It was raining heavily too.

The next morning, we went for breakfast, walk around the resort and start packing...checkout was at 12 noon.


After checkout, we went to Tampin, had lunch and walked around town... most of the shops were closed...maybe because its Hari Raya Haji Eve...however we chance upon people making lemang... we bought some for my mom & MIL. Sulaiman called them Bazooka...

Stopped at the town mosque to do zohor..then back to the train station. We took the 4.15 train and reached Woodlands at 9.45pm. What a trip! Overall it was a fun short holiday.... my hubby plan to go on an adventure trip without the kids,,,just the 2 of us...backpacking...ya right.... so he plans....lets see if it happens....Wakakakaka

Hey...Its Aishah's Birthday....!!

Date: 3rd Dec 2001

I was brought to KK Hospital at midnight...labour pains was climbing to its peak gradually... I could still hold a straight face while sitting beside my hubby during registration to check in.

My water bag had not broke yet but the pain was intensifying... I told myself... this is it..she is coming to see me today... Both my hubby & myself did not want to bother my mom or MIL..we decided to just leave the 2 kids at home..told them that baby sister was about to come and they should sleep as they have to see baby sister in the morning...Tawakal pada Allah..we leave it to Allah to care for the kids while we went to KK.

After registration and all the health checks...I told hubby to leave... I know I will be with Allah in giving labour to this baby girl... he left to care for the other 2 kids at home...

The pain intensified but the water bag still did not break. I endured the pain while dilation was in process...Subhanallah.....it was a different kind of labour compared to my earlier 2. At around 4am, I could feel she was ready to come out...her head was pushing through...the water bag still did not break...I asked the midwife to just call the doctor and maybe snip the sack that has been home to my baby girl...but NO...says the midwife..she says at this stage..it will be dangerous as the umbilical chord might twist around my baby's neck and choke her. I need to wait....Masyallah....Allahuakbar...this waiting game was unbearable...

At nearly 8am....I begged the midwife to call the doctor. She came with an entourage of student doctors making their morning rounds.... I begged her to deliver my baby now as I can feel her just at my pelvic...as soon as she snips the water bag..... my baby girl shoots out....I could see the doctor's clothes were all smeared with blood. I did not push at all. She had to hold on to my baby's head, telling me no to push all out just yet.... what can I say...my girl have a mind of her own...SHE IS COMING OUT NOW! Her cries was very loud as if she was saying..hey doctor you are too slow....Wakakakakaka..


That was 7 years ago..... she is my sweetheart, always so endearing and caring to my feelings...whenever she saw that I am tired after doing my exercises..she will come to me with that cute little smile of hers and says...'Bonda penat? Let me wipe your sweat'... as she took a small towel and wipe my forehead.


She has develop a fetish for high heel shoes...and she will drag me into any shoe store..just to google over those shoes. "Wah...Bonda..this one is lovely..look at it...That one too.." That is my Siti Aishah.


I love you Aishah...no amount of presents or gifts will surmount to what I feel towards you. May Allah bless you with health, continued faith, akhlak yang sempurna, a bright future and most importantly your love & respect for your elders....

Boyfriend 5.0 to Husband 1.0

such as Romance 9.5 and Personal Attention 6.5, but installed
undesirable programs such as Formula One 5.0, NBA 3.0 and World Cup 2.0.

And now Conversation 8.0 no longer runs and House Cleaning 2.6 simply
crashes the system.
I've tried running Nagging 5.3 to fix these problems, but to no avail.

What can I do?

First keep in mind:

Boyfriend 5.0 is an entertainment package, while Husband 1.0 is an operating
system.

Try entering the command C:\ I THOUGHT YOU LOVED ME and download
Tears 6.2 to install Guilt 3.0 ..

If all works as designed, Husband 1.0 should then automatically run
the applications Jewellery 2.0 and Flowers 3.5.

But remember, overuse can cause Husband 1.0 to default to Grumpy
Silence 2.5, Happy Hour 7.0 or Late Night Teh Tarik 6.1.

Late Night 6.1 is a very bad program that will create SnoringLoudly.wav
files.


Whatever you do, DO NOT install Mother-in-Law 1.0 or reinstall another
Boyfriend program.
These are not supported applications and will crash Husband 1.0.

In summary, Husband 1.0 is a great program, but it does have a
limited memory and cannot learn new applications quickly.

You might consider additional software to improve memory and performance.. I
personally recommend Hot Tasty Food 3.0 and Tongkat Ali 6.9.

PSG Potluck Picnic/ Singapore Flyer Outing

On the 15th Nov 2008, West Spring PSG will be going on the Singapore Flyer. This is to acknowledge everyone that has been involved with the school in one way or another and also a very good excuse to mingle and get to know each other's family better.


VP1 Mrs Liau & VP2 Mr Khoo & family will be joining us at the Flyer. We will be taking the sunset ride...how romantic yeah!

But just before that, we will be having a Potluck Picnic at West Coast Park. There will be 2 busloads of PSG members & their families. Each family have highlighted what to bring and the menu looks GOOD!

The best part of it is each adult is to pay only $12 for the flyer... the school will be using the SFE Fund to offset the actual ticket price....YeeHah..

School Excellence Award Ceremony

West Spring Secondary School celebrated their 7th Award Ceremony at the NUS Guild House last night.

It was night where students from every level who excel in their studies were being acknowledged together with their parents on stage..Cool right! The whole ambience is very classy.

A new twist to this years' celebration was the addition of the Partners Award, where individuals who had contributed time & energy towards the School's achievements & activities were being recognised.


My small contribution to West Spring were celebrated in a very big way...I felt very humbled last night when they showed off to the audience the videos I made of the SYF 2008 Competition held at the National Stadium early this year. As my name was announced to go on stage, a roaring cheer was heard....didnt know I had fans...Wakakakakaka.






But the best part was......everyone was complimenting on my image.....the waaahs..the ooohhss... you lost so much weight compliments came my way..... happy sey....

Pain

Tonight...I will be given an award at NUS during the School Excellence Award Ceremony.. However, the very person that should be there to see me get this award will not even attend. I am very sad....too sad. His acknowledgement is all that matters to me...

My heart is crying out in pain...its too much. I can only keep a brave face in front of all that is attending. Please pray for me tonight. I need it.

A Deepavali Get Together

On the 2nd November 2008, I was invited for a get together over at our PSG member, Mr Muruges & Harbindarjeet's place at CCK.






But just before that, I attended to my 3rd flr. neighbour's wedding. I went there with Su, Tasha & Siti Aishah. I had 2 scoops of BeeHoon and 2 cuts of fruit...knowing I would have to eat some Deepavali goodies later at Muruges's place, so I got to spread up my slimming points.





The Deepavali spread was ..
a. Broiled Chicken
b. Mixed Vegetable
c. Chicken Curry
d. A choice of French Loaf/ White Rice.
e. Fruit Tarts
f. Muruku
g. Deepavali Goodies/ Sweets

I chose the French Loaf dipped in curry, 1 Broiled Chicken and lots of Mixed Vegetable and only 1 Muruku.... Yeah I survived!!!!!!

Animal Farm, The Musical

On the 31st Oct was West Spring Secondary School first ever musical. It was at the Victoria Theatre 8pm.

The Guest of Honour was Mr Lim Swee Say, Minister, Prime Minister's Office with Mr Liang Eng Hwa as our Special Guest, MP for the Holland-Bt Timah GRC.

Many came to support this worthy cause. Parents & friends together with the Sec1s and 2s came in droves to see their peers act on stage.

Principal, Mr Seet sent a sms to me immediately after the show, it reads...

"Thank you for your support & presence tonight. Minister was impressed & went backstage to shake hand with every cast. We made history with our first public performance."

Rooting for Obama!

Tomorrow Americans will decide.... what does it got to do with Asia or Singapore....the answer is...A LOT....

My family was at Jurong Point the other day.... the kids do not want to miss a chance...









Hmm the Sarah Palin fever hits home like no other.... Nuraina now does her hair like her...just look at her... maybe now it should be Sarah Paid Lin....... Wakakakaka...creative kan......

Aerobics@CCK with Khairi Supani

Early last Saturday morning, I had my aerobics session with Khairi & his group. My Sis-in-Law n her hubby is a member there. I came knowing it was Khairi who is leading us. Missed his usual great tactics and humour while exercising. So I came well prepared.


I took the LRT to Southview Station then I PowerWalked all the way to Blk 455 CCK (garden area). It was a cool 20 mins distance. The morning air was soft and breezy and it made my journey there more relaxing. Stopped at the Shop&Safe store, bought a bottle of mineral water and off I went.

As I reached the open space, I saw several ladies in sports attire gathering...thought to myself..this must be the group. As I came nearer, Khairi was seated, waiting for all of us to arrive. he was pleasantly surprised to see me there. We talked for awhile, even commenting on my improvement.... that spurred me on. Thank you.

Soon Sis Maimunah also came. Each person is to pay $4. I believe there was about 25 people there....

The moves were new, entangling grapevines made me laughed..the steps are way cooler and more exciting.... I really enjoyed the session...it started at 8am and ended at about 9.15am....to which I bid farewell to my new friends at CCK and went off continuing my PowerWalk with Sis Maimunah till she reached her home and I continued my way to Southview Station... finally reached home at about 9.55am... Pheww it was good Saturday morning for me...

For those staying in CCK and would like to get off your butt and do some exercise, come on down to Blk 455 every Saturday, if it rains, the session will continue at the covered podium nearby.... See you there or be circle (bulat)...Wakakakakaka

Our dear Wak Imah....

Coming back from the Deepavali celebrations, we decided to go to our dear Wak Imah's place at Hougang.... the children were elated to go...


She is my mom's eldest sibling, my children says she is so much like Nenek Yishun (my mom) her voice, her mannerisms is almost alike they say.








I am so grateful that she served us guava, oranges & sweercorn... after the Deepavali Briyani, this is surely a good thing for me & my diet. Thank you Wak Imah...hehehhee

Celebrating Deepavali

Yesterday...our family went to Selvam & Kaveri, our dear friend's home to celebrate Deepavali with them.

Muruku, Briyani, sweet delicacies were served... the food were all catered, Halal....Mak oi.... there goes my slimming points... but I was quite ok..just scoop 2 spoonfuls of briyani, 2 cuts of lean mutton and loads of cucumber, chillies & pineapple salad.. Yum Yum....

The host kept asking me to add more rice.... I said I am ok.... I kept scooping up the salad... at least they saw me still eating ...but not the rice...heheheheh smart huh!





Sulaiman was the big eater there..look at him... the food was too delicious for him... he had 3 servings..... compliments to the chef...













Sulaiman and Dinesh are good friends and both goes to SJI (St Joseph's Institution)










Selvam & Razak was both working in the same company years ago... lost contact then later realised we had moved into the same neighbourhood.

Initially I thought Selvam is from Malaysia as he is very fluent in Malay, but he is not. He says its a result of having too many Malay friends while growing up.






Siti Aishah & Ganesh are friends too..both are in P1 at GreenRidge Primary School. They kept spraying each other with party shakers and party poopers... They had so much fun...









Didn't manage to get a photo with Kaveri, she was busy attending to her guests... I grab Ganesh and got a shot...

The other day, I had to go to Clifford Centre.... went there with hubby.... after finishing off my business, my hubby continued working while I tried to find my way to the exit leading to Raffles Place MRT...

I walked around the building.... eh where's the exit? Silly of me... saw a lady about my age I think...stopped her and asked her... "Excuse me....could you please tell me the exit".... She looked at me and in a split second she said..."Adik sesat ke? Ok Adik jalan sini belok kiri jalan terus...(She refer to me as adik (younger sister), are you lost younger sister? Adik tak ke sekolah ke hari ni? Not having classes today? Aikkksss do I still qualify as a teenager...a Poly student????? She thought I was a Poly student..I was dressed in my sports shoes, jeans & black tee.... I thanked her and went on my way... Still in my heart, giggling...

I embraced what happened as a sign of my continuous efforts showing its results... I am a healthier Me.....!!!!!! Yeehah...Alhamdulillah...

Malam Sabtu lepas...hati ku remuk dan sedih sekali....

Kita 5 beranak baru selesai bertandang ke rumah iparku di CCK. Plan nak ke rumah makcik sebelah mak di Bt Panjang. Ita kurang pasti tangga mana rumahnya...dah call hp berkali..tiada jawapan...eh takde rumah ke? Cuba call makcik lagi satu, minta tel rumah dia...Ita call....suaminya angkat.....dah perkenalkan diri dan minta nak cakap dgn makcik...Dia kata kejap eh...then line mati. Ita call balik....cakap lagi....then dimatikan lagi...Apa cerita ni...

Kita dah ada dalam carpark.... hubby suruh Ita naik dan check...belum sempat buka pintu kereta...anak Ita...Sulaiman offer..Ibu tak payah..Man naik..lari lagi cepat...Oklah kalau gitu. Tak lama dia turun...muka dia sedih..katanya dia dah perkenalkan diri...Tok ini Sulaiman....anak Ita...anak Razak...Tok tak kenal ke....Dia jawab...aku tak kenal..kau salah rumah..terus dia duduk tengok TV...Sulaiman masih tercegat kat pintu...Anak Ita rasa malu...bila diberitahu what happen....hubby Ita bingitlah....Ita dipersalahkan. Dia terus drive out from the carpark walau Ita merayu dgn dia supaya hentikan kereta. Dia malu dan marah sangat....datang raya orang tak terima katanya... airmata ni mengalir tak henti2.

Sampai dirumah...dah tak ada mood nak cakap dgn hubby lagi...Ita terus ke dapur..buat persiapan untuk openhouse hari minggu. Dari jam 10 mlm hingga ke 3.30 pagi Ita di dapur. Teringatkan kisah tadi...nangis lagi. Rasa penat dan ngantuk mula....Ita tidur...6.00 pagi bangun dan sambung kerja....hinggalah tetamu2 tiba....pagi ini..badan rasa macam nak pecah....sengal satu badan...tengkok dah cramp... Ya Allah....Subhanallah..

Dah 3 hari MIL ada kat sini... itu pun secara mendadak my hubby bawa dia ke sini dari hari Selasa... aku tak kisahlah...

Pagi Rabu seperti biasa aku pergi PowerWalk... 7 pagi..aku lagi siap pakai trackpants... tup tup kedengaran bunyi mangga pagar dibuka orang... dengan cepat aku keluar.. my MIL rupanya nak keluar.. aku tanya nak kemana? Dia kata nak amik angin pagi sambil jalan2. Terus dia meluru keluar belum sempat aku cakap aku pun nak keluar, dia dah menghilang. Cepat2 aku pakai tudung dan keluar....kunci dia tak bawa... aku PowerWalk makan 1 jam setengah sambil ke pasar beli Tahue panas. Takkan aku nak kasi dai tunggu depan pintu...siapa nak buka pagar? Aku bergegas ke bawah mencarinya. Alhamdulillah...jumpa..ku serahkan kunci padanya. Aku pun jalan.

Bila pulang...aku terus masak Ayam Masak Kari, Goreng Sayur Kobis, Sambal Belacan. Aku perasan di atas meja ada roti manis dan epok2...MIL beli agaknya. Aku diam je.

Namun aku perasan dia tak makan apa yang aku masak... aku ajak dia makan tengahari..dia kata nanti...hingga ke jam 6ptg...masih belum jamah masakan dan nasi. Aku diam lagi. Takkan aku nak paksa dia.

Malam pun begitu...my hubby balik...ajak dia makan dia kata nanti... Bila kita dah masuk bilik...kedengaran klentang klentung periuk didapur...dalam hati aiseyman..macam tikus dapur...Wakakaka.... aku diam lagi.

Semalam pun sama...pagi-pagi dia keluar tanpa beritahu aku... aku turun tapi tak jumpa...macam mana nak kasi kunci? Last last aku tak pergi PowerWalk. Buat tubing exercises. Tunggu dia balik. Jam 9 baru dia balik..bawa epok2 n roti manis lagi. Aku diam lagi.

Aku masak Asam Pedas Lada Hitam Ikan Pari dgn Daun Kesum. Namun tak laku juga. Same story sampai malam...... Aku beritahu my hubby that Mak tak makan apa yg disajikan. He just said..Biarkan.....Aku diam lagi. Dia kurung diri dia dalam bilik...tetamu datang pun dia buat dak...tak keluar.. bukan orang dia tak kenal...dia kenal. Aku berdiam lagi..

Hari ini pun sama story... my hubby said Mak kata nak pergi rumah kakak..So he plan sambil kita hantar, boleh beraya sekali rumah kakak (dari last week nak dtg asyik takde rumah) So aku bilang MIL yang malam ni kita nak beraya rumah kakak...tapi responnya masyallah terkejut aku...

"Tak payah datang, Kakak kau tu nak buat kuih raya..dia belum ada kuih raya..(suara dia macam tak suka) aku diam aje lagi (maklum tak nak keruhkan keadaan) Muncung dari pagi...aku tak tahu apa lagi yang tak kena ni... Subhanallah.

Hari Istimewa.....Happy Birthday

Hari ini...9th Oct genaplah umur bondaku yang ke 59... melihat raut wajahnya... ternyata terlalu banyak perit jerih kehidupan yang dilaluinya...





Ita berdoa agar Allah sembuhkan segala penyakit yang di tanggung Mak. teringat lagu Siti Nurhaliza....Airmata Ibu

Berderau Jantungku

Alahai....Pelepah pinang ini jatuh dan sipi-sipi terkena Ita semasa menghantar Aishah ke sekolah semalam...Just by inches...the sound was so loud. Berderau jantungku.... AllahuAkbar...

Mak datang beraya...

Semalam Mak Ita call...dia rasa sihat sedikit dan merancang ke rumah Ita bersama Shahid dan Jamilah. Terasa happy sangat Mak nak datang..maklum Mak sering sakit dan tahun lalu dia tak berkesempatan datang kerumah masa raya. Jadi kali ini macam best gitu.

Ada tamu nak raya

Baru dapat call... my mom nak datang beraya. Shahid dan Jamiliah pun datang sama katanya. Shahid nak bertandang ke rumah Jamilah di Clementi dulu kerana dengar khabar keluarga Jamilah sudah ke rumah Mak. Hehheheehe future besan sudah berjumpa..Alhamdulillah...

Mungkin jam 2ptg mereka tiba.... budak2 semua masih disekolah...maybe Sulaiman saja dah pulang agaknya nanti. Nak ke kedai kejap beli apa2 yang patut.

4th day Syawal

Early morning, Hubby went to work... early morning too I went off to Senja NTUC (open at 8am) bought groceries to cook today... I thought of making mini puffs... froze it till later when guests come...senang...tinggal thaw out and bake... hot & crispy for them...

Did the laundry, tidy up the house, etc...

At around 4pm... my next door neighbour came... with Haris (their son..so cute) served them the mini puffs...they loved it...

Haris was busy with his mom's camera, clicking away.... when his mom want the camera back.. he said...'No..you cannot have it' He will be attending Nursery only next year and his command of English boleh tahan...berabuk speaking London... Comel sungguh.



In the evening, we managed to visit my eldest bro-in-law in Yishun.

Then we went to visit my uncle in Pandan Gardens. Uncle Achid and Cik Zizah.

Left their home at about 10.30pm... Aishah slept in the car... reaching home..she said...'Kita nak pergi rumah siapa now?' Alahai Aishah...dah sampai rumah pun.... Wakakakaka mengigau agaknya dia tu..

Exam fever berterusan...

Alahai... hari kedua dan ketiga Syawal anak2 sudah bersekolah dan ada yang menjalani peperiksaan akhir tahun... siang-siang lagi mereka sudah memberi isyarat mahu tumpukan pada peperiksaan. Selalunya PSG dan Principal sekolah akan bertandang pada hujung minggu pertama Syawal... kali ini kena tunggu dulu.. mungkin minggu ke 3 baru Ita adakan jamuan buat mereka dan teman2.. Aishah pula hanya akan bermula peperiksaannya pada 24hb Oct... Alahai semakin pening kepala Ita...

Hukum Allah

Maaf Suria, Ita dah beberapa hari tidak update apa2.... bukan sibuk menjelang raya.. tetapi fikiran, emosi terlalu terganggu.

Mungkin sudah menjadi lumrah manusia.... yang desperate akan lupa hukum Allah...yang haram dijadikan halal dengan berbagai alasan diberi untuk menjelaskannya.

JIka ini hukum sivil kita boleh melepaskan diri didunia.... tapi ini hukum Allah...sudah jelas tertulis cukup dengan nisbah dan kiraannya.... namun manusia menjadi kabur bila wang datang bergolek. Jika itu wang kita...tidak mengapa... ini wang hak orang lain. termakankah kita? Apa yang dimakan akan menjadi darah yang mengalir didalam tubuh kita dan tidak akan ada berkatnya. Jangan pula kita lupa, balasan dari yang maha Esa....Subhanallah. Dengar sahaja dah mengerikan apalagi jika kita mengharunginya.

Akhir-akhir bulan Ramadhan ini.....buat Ita....terlalu banyak dugaannya. Ia ke tahap menyedihkan sehingga mak Ita dua hari lepas tidak mahu berhari raya dan segala persiapan kuih Ita untuknya semua ditolak. Dia tidak izinkan Ita datang kerumahnya dengan alasan dia nak menyendiri dan jika cucunya tanya... nenek ke Johor sahaja alasan yang harus Ita berikan. Kesian Mak Ita...dia tidak sanggup melihat keadaan begini.

Sebagai kakak, sudah menjadi tanggunjawab untuk memberitahu jika mereka tidak tahu kerana ini melibatkan harta orang yang sudah meninggal dunia. Hukum Faraidh adalah jelas. Sayang tidak semua setuju untuk melaksanakannya. Saranan Ita dan penjelasan tidak mahu dilayan. Ita ni memandai-mandai kata mereka. Dihina, dicela, di nista hanya kerana ingin melaksanakan Faraidh. Ita sudah beritahu, terlepaslah Ita dari diheret diakhirat nanti. Terpulanglah kepada mereka yang tidak mahu mematuhi perintah Allah. Ita tak dapat memaksa kerana wang sudah ditangan mereka. Mata menjadi kabur.

Nasihat Ita pada semua, jangan buat nomination pada wang CPF kerana ia akan menimbulkan masalah kerana bila nama kita dinominasikan sebagai penerima wang itu, ia hanyalah sebagai pengamanah sahaja dari segi agama, bukan hak mutlak kita (penjelasan dari MUIS) Kita harus satukan kembali wang itu (leceh jika ahli keluarga tak mahu buat demikian) masalah timbul kerananya.

Bila tiada nominasi.....ini penjelasan MUIS...

Wang arwah akan disalurkan ke Public Trustee dimana badan itu akan behubungan dengan Mahkamah Syariah dan MUIS....Hukum Faraidh dilaksanakan dahulu..seperti zakat harta si mati, fidyah hutang puasa si mati, hutang si mati kepada individu akan dilangsaikan dahulu....bakinya baru di bahagikan kepada waris yang berhak.

Inilah yang sepatutnya berlaku.....walau lambat tetapi berkesan demi mengelakkan mana2 pihak bercekau. Ini adallah luahan hati Ita yang remuk dan pilu. Sayang seribu kali sayang the relation will never be the same after this. My hubby accidentally saw the cruel sms Ita terima dari Shahid, lalu dia ke rumah Mak semalam demi menjernihkan keadaan dan bersemuka dengan Shahid untuk meminta penjelasan. Shahid diam terpaku tidak berani nak menjawab soalan suami Ita. Akhirnya mak Ita membenarkan Ita mengunjungi pada raya kelak setelah memahami duduk perkara. Namun Shahid dan yg lain masih ungkal. Terserahlah...semua sudah dewasa. Jawablah sendiri pada Allah nanti.

Ambil lah iktibar dari apa yang Ita alami.My conscience is clear, I have done the right thing. Subhanallah... Allahuakbar.
